  • 1928

    Gobo Rinko Railway Co., Ltd. is established in Gobo City, Wakayama Prefecture. Ltd. is established in Gobo City, Wakayama Prefecture.

  • 1972

    Company name changed to "Kishu Railway Co.

  • 1975

    Established Kishu Railway Real Estate Co. Enters the villa business.
    Travel service business is established with the addition of Kintetsu Airlines Service Co.

  • 1977

    Launched the "Component Owners System" (a membership club) to promote leisure development projects.

  • 1978

    Head office is relocated to Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture.

  • 1979

    Established KITETSU HOTEL Co. Hotel business promoted.
    Became part of the Tsuruya Group with the aim of strengthening the corporate structure.

  • 1980

    Head office is relocated to Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.

  • 1987

    Kishu Railway Australia Pty Ltd. is established. Aiming to become an international resort industry.

  • 1988

    Ltd. and Kaga Yamashiro Kiketetsu Hotel Ltd. were added to the Yamanaka Prince Hotel and Kaga Yamashiro Kiketetsu Hotel Ltd. to expand the hotel business in Hokuriku.

  • 1991

    Kishu Railway Nasu Shiobara Hotel opens.

  • 1991

    Enhance the Kintetsu Hotel chain with the addition of Hotel Zao Co.

  • 1997

    The 20th anniversary of the "Component Owners System" project.

  • 1998

    Muse Salon (currently Club Opus One "Opera Video Appreciation Club") established.
    Established the membership club "KITETSU CLUB" with the addition of the "Quality Select System" to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the company's founding.

  • 2002

    A new type of timeshare resort, Double Timeshare Hakone Gora, goes on sale.

  • 2004

    Club Opus One event begins.
    Launch of new resort membership system, Club 2Do.
    Muse Salon Tokyo 100th anniversary luncheon.
